Weather-resistant PP is mostly used for products with weather-resistant requirements because of its improved aging resistance. Main brands: PP-CG0 (S04), PP-CG0 (S01).
Because PP has a large number of unstable tertiary carbon atoms in the polypropylene chain, in the presence of oxygen, only a small amount of energy can be used to remove hydrogen from tertiary carbon atoms and become tertiary carbon radicals. Tertiary carbon free radicals are very active, which can cause various reactions of molecular chains, including chain growth and chain degradation, resulting in the loss of the original properties of PP and the aging of PP materials.
Mainly used in the housing of home appliances, outdoor air conditioner parts, outdoor products.
PP is very easy to be degraded by aging, especially when it is used outdoors, its aging resistance needs to be improved.
